The Island of Lembongan

A small island just 15 miles from Bali, Lembongan has no cars, few motorbikes, and only one way to get there: boat.

Our rocky trip across the strait wasn’t so bad for us, but the girl vomiting on the boat might say otherwise.

We arrived at around 9:30am, settled in to a random little beach guest house, and found no power. Our place, and several places in either direction had no power for the day. We found a cafe down the way with power and WiFi for about $2/hour.

It’s not the best Internet connection in the world, so this is about as good as it gets. Be back soon!
