Many of you probably heard about the earthquake off the coast of Sumatra, Indonesia yesterday, and I’m pleased to report that we were not affected. Apparently the earthquake was pretty intense – 8.6 or higher – and the aftershock was almost as bad. It was felt as far away as Bangkok, Thailand. We left Da Nang on Wednesday evening and rode an overnight train up to Hanoi, so we are safe and sound in Vietnam! If there were any shocks in this area, we couldn’t tell them from the bumpiness of the train!
More information to follow about our travels, but I just wanted to let everyone know that we are safe! Hope you all had a good Easter!
